Getting ZroNet

The ZroNet App is supported on MTN, Vodafone and AirtelTigo Ghana

No, you can’t, you need to be fully integrated on the ZroNet system to be able to access any app or any sponsored mobile app before you can browse on zero balance, hence you need to have data to be able to download the ZroNet App

Problems using ZroNet

If you are experiencing this, it is likely an issue with your phone’s connection to the internet.
Always be sure to be using the latest version of the ZroNet app. Once, you are certain of this, and the issue persists, double check (and even triple check) that your phone has an active internet connection with a strong signal. Try loading a webpage to make sure.
Also, make sure your phone’s storage is free of junk and is running freely.

This is because the ZroNet app is currently just available for Android phones

This is mainly an issue with your local network provider. Some of the local network providers have system such that, once you are on zero balance you are taken off the internet portal. Hence with these networks you may need to have some data balance to be able to browse for free.

If you can’t connect to ZroNet, this is usually caused by a problem with your Internet connection or your phone’s settings.
Most connection issues can be resolved by doing the following:
• Restart your phone or turn it off and on.
• Turning your internet off and on from the notification panel.
• Update ZroNet to the latest version available on the Google Playstore.
Contact your mobile provider and make sure your APN settings are configured correctly

Some mobile web browsers, like Opera Mini, and mobile internet settings that enhance speed and efficiency of content delivery may remove original URLs and therefore not allow ZroNet service to function as designed. ZroNet may not be able to determine if you are using a proxy, as such, data usage that flows through a proxy may be deducted from your data plan. ZroNet recommends you use Android Chrome browser to guarantee your data plan is not impacted and you have the best user experience

Registering on ZroNet

Yes, you can always change the number with which you registered. Simply log out your old number and login with the new one

Using the ZroNet App

Yes, you can, from time to time you are asked to suggest apps you would want to use free of Data charges. You will get these updates once you follow any of our social media pages on the following:
a) Twitter: @zronet
b) Facebook: @zronet
c) Instagram: @zronet

It depends on what offers and data bundles are available to be claimed. However the amount of data assigned for each offer is always indicated in the app

Once you claim an offer featured on the ZroNet app, you should be able to use it without affecting your main data balance and be able to work effectively on zero balance

Once you open the app, you would several sponsored apps on display for you to claim, all you must do is open it and click on the option “claim” in the app to be able to use it

No, you do not have to open the ZroNet App every time you claim an offer. Once you claim an offer on the ZroNet App, there is no need coming back to the App every time you want to enjoy your free data
